Original legends of heavy metal, Pentagram, come to the Rex - one night only!
Before the NWOBH, before thrash, before doom, before anything with a -core on the end, there was
heavy metal. Like their contemporaries Black Sabbath, Pentagram spent the seventies pushing the envelope of hard edged rock and blues, helping to create a genre (or, perhaps, a musical attitude) which would produce an unbelievable variety of music over the next forty years. The band has undergone many line-up changes in their time and has continually explored diverse musical territory, influencing countless acts along the way.
This show is 21+, with proper ID. Tickets are $15.50 in advance and $18 day of show. Doors at 8pm.
