Borgore (a.k.a. Asaf Borger) burst onto the scene in early 2009, seriously shaking up the burgeoning dubstep genre. In his first year or so of activity, he has risen from an online sensation to a regular globe-trotter, selling out clubs the world over. This Tel Aviv-based producer whips up a quirky mix of old school emceeing and seriously crunked out dubstep. The result is a pulsating, unique music that's as dark and heavy as it is danceable. Also a talented drummer (for metal band Shabira), Borgore has expert rhythmic sensibilities and consistently churns out inventive, ever-changing beats.
